About Us

Clydebank Sub Aqua Club (CSAC) was formed in 1961 and is based in the heart of Clydebank, recognised throughout the world for its Ship Building and Maritime past. We started in the Bruce Street swimming pool, which had a handy pub, just across the road. The Clydebank Leisure Centre, where we now have our pool sessions, is built on the site of the famous John Brown Shipbuilding Yard.

We are affiliated to the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) and all our training activities, diving qualifications and other more advanced diving skills can be examined on the BSAC website: https://www.bsac.com/home/

A summary of the various Diving awards is provided on the Diver Training” page on this Clydebanksac website.
